Navigator: Target Overview
Our Navigator Target Overview feature combines our Dynamic Target feature with a Target Trend graph, so that the user can see progress toward a sales goal—through three different metrics, over a specified time period. The user always knows where they stand with regard to the target, and what they need to do to meet or exceed it.
#1: Set up the target goal
In order to better see your progress toward a sales goal, you need to set up the target goal first, if you have not already done so. In order to set up the target goal, please follow these steps:
1. Run Pipeliner CRM.
2. Click on Navigator.
3. Click on the "Set your goal" button.
4. The CRM Navigator's profile will open, in which you can configure your sales goal. Enter the goal into the "Target Goal" field.
5. The Target Trend chart will display your target goal in the chart.
This way you can visually see the goal you are aiming for.
#2: Change the target type
Pipeliner enables you to track 5 different target types. For sales opportunity management, the most common target type is the Weighted Target. In order to set up the target type, follow these steps:
1. Run Pipeliner CRM.
2. Click on "Navigator" within the main menu.
3. Mouse over the target sign and click on the target icon.
4. Change the target type to the one you would like to track within the target overview.
#3: Review the target trend chart
The target trend chart is a very unique chart that displays the accumulation of the opportunities values according to their closing dates in time. If you set up the target period for (for example) Q1 of the year 2016, the target trend chart displays only those opportunities that closing dates are within that period of time. The target trend chart changes its shape on the date of closure of the opportunity and on that day you can review its contribution according to the all target types. In order to review the target values just mouse over the line, and Pipeliner displays all the target types within the day you choose.
