Pivot Table Reports in Pipeliner CRM

You no longer need to export your data from CRM to generate dynamic pivot table reports! With the Pipeliner CRM reporting feature and its profile settings you can predefine opportunity filters, sorting, and display options based on sales roles to quickly generate the pivot table reports you need.

What is a Pivot Table Report?

A pivot table is an advanced method for comparing data and sharpening insights across multiple data sets. The pivot table in Pipeliner CRM enables you to summarize your field values into a spreadsheet in order to give a better overview of sales data.

A Pivot Report is a report that summarizes selected columns and rows of data into a spreadsheet.

Below is the example of a pivot table:

As you can see, a pivot table summarizes the values within the cells in the columns as well in the rows.

#1: How to create a pivot table on “Open sales opportunities per sales pipeline steps”

Run a pivot table report within Management Reports:

1. Run Pipeliner CRM. Click "Reports" and "Management Reports" within the main bottom menu.Pipeliner CRM Accessing Management Reports

2. Open the sidebar column and click "New Report".

3. Name it "Sales Opportunities Value per Sales Step", select the “Opportunity” report type and click "Save".

4. Click on View Settings. Change the Report Type from Standard to Pivot.

5. Configure View Settings by assigning correct "Row" and "Column" fields and "Cumulation" settings.

6. Close Settings, and view the pivot table.

7. Do not forget to save your report by clicking the “Save” button on a very bottom of the report screen.

Run a Pivot Table Report within Management Reports:

  1. Run Pipeliner CRM and click "Reports" and "Management Reports" within the main bottom menu.

  1. Name it "Sales Opportunities per Sales Unit over Monthly Revenue", select the “Opportunity” report type and click "Save."
  1. Click on View Settings. Change the Report Type from Standard to Pivot.
  1. Configure View Settings by assigning correct "Row" and "Column" fields and "Cumulation" Settings. Check the "Open” opportunity status.
