How can I create a Follow-up activity?

You can create a Follow-up Activity from the recently finished or opened Activity with the same settings. New Activity will be created with automatically populated fields marked with yellow background. You can add or edit any information in the follow-up Activity.

Create a Follow-up in Activities

  1. Click on “Activities” to open your activity box.
  2. Browse for the Activity you want to follow up. Activity may be both Open as well as Completed.
  3. Click on the Follow up button.
  4. Create New Activity will appear with auto-populated fields. You can edit any fields you like. 
  5. Click “Save”.

Create a Follow-up in Activity detail view

  1. Open the Entity (e.g. Opportunity) detail view.
  2. Click on “Activities” to open list of activities.
  3. Browse for the Activity you want to follow up. Activity may be both Open and Completed.
  4. Click on the Follow up button.
  5. Create New Activity will appear with auto-populated fields. You can edit any fields you like. 
  6. Click “Save”.

Auto Follow-up Activity

You can create follow-up activities automatically after completing the tasks. When enabled, pop-up message will appear after completing the activity. After clicking on the Follow Up, Create New Activity window will appear with auto-populated fields.

  1. Open "Account settings".
  2. Select "Preferences".
  3. Enable Show follow-up action message window.
  4. When completing the activity pop up message will appear.
  5. Click on Follow up button to create New activity.
