You can create new user role directly within the "Administration".
Create a New User Role
- Click on the “User” and select “Administration” from drop down menu.
- Click on "Users & Roles".
- Click on "User Roles" and click "Create" button.
- Configure your user role according to your preferences and click “Save”.
Note: You may also create a new User Role by COPYING existing user role. You may do so by clicking on the icon represented by two sheets. This comes in handy when you want to create a similar user role with only small differences.
Hierarchical Units Access Level
|Only owned records||User has access only when he is an owner|
|Only assigned units||User can search and browse entries where he is Owner, Editor or Watcher|
|Assigned and parent units||User has full access to entries within his sales units and units above his.|
|Assigned units and subunits||User has full access to entries within his sales units and units below his.|
|Assigned units, parent and subunits||User has full access to entries within his sales units and units above and below his.|
|All units||User has full access to entries within all sales units|
|Read only access to records||User is allowed only to read the entries based on the Hierarchical Units Access Level|
|Write Access where where Editor rights are granted||User may edit entries where he is Owner or Editor|
|Write Access where where Editor or Manager rights are granted||User has full access to entries within his sales units and units above his.|
|Write access to records.||User has rights to edit all the entries to which he has access based on Hierarchical Units Access Level.|
