The BI dashboard consists of visual reports showing the most significant Opportunity-related information and the “health” of your sales pipeline. Furthermore, the dashboard gives you a visual overview of either your personal efficiency or assigned team efficiency by including their Opportunities in the view. In Pipeliner CRM you can choose from 25 popular, pre-compiled, essential charts to display in your Pipeliner CRM Dashboard:

Gauge Charts

A gauge chart or speedometer is established when a business needs to distinguish between the expected and real business goal (i.e. these charts show actual real-time efficiency of your business). Here are the most common gauge charts you can use within Pipeliner CRM software:

  • Won vs. Goal - Shows actual revenue of your won Opportunities.
  • Ranked vs. Goal - Shows probable future revenue of your open Opportunities based on their ranking.
  • Weighted vs. Goal - Shows probable future revenue of your open Opportunities based on their probability of closure.
  • Unweighted vs. Goal - Shows probable future revenue of your open Opportunities independent of their probability of closure.
  • Balanced vs. Goal - Shows probable future revenue of your open Opportunities based on their probability of closure and ranking.

Pie Charts

A pie chart is a circular statistical graphic, which is divided into sectors to illustrate numerical proportion (i.e. shows you the proportion of the e.g. opportunity types).

  • Comparison Opportunity Status (%) - Displays the ratio of the different Opportunity types.
  • Comparison Account Class (%) - Displays the ratio of the different Account classes.
  • Comparison Account Class (Total Value) - Displays the values of each different Account class.

Bar Charts

A bar chart is a chart with rectangular bars with lengths proportional to the values that they represent.

  • Sum of Upcoming Closing Dates - Displays up to 5 Opportunities according to their value and upcoming closing date.
  • Account Class Opportunities (Total Value) - Displays value of Opportunities in each sales step according to their account class.
  • Account Class (Number of Opportunities) - Displays number of Opportunities in each sales step according to their account class.
  • Ratio of Ranked Opportunities - Displays the ratio of Opportunities in each sales step according to their ranking type.
  • Count of Ranked Opportunities - Displays number of Opportunities in each sales step according to their ranking type.
  • Total Value of Ranked Opportunities - Displays total value of Opportunities in each sales step according to their ranking type.
  • Pipeline Velocity (Days) - Displays avg. and exp. duration of Opportunities in each sales step.
  • Count of Overdue Opportunities - Displays number of overdue Opportunities in each sales step.

Column Bar Charts

A column chart is a bar chart with rectangular bars with lengths proportional to the values that they represent. Column bar charts are plotted vertically.

  • Top Won Opportunities - Displays up to 5 won Opportunities according to their value.
  • Top Lost Opportunities - Displays up to 5 lost Opportunities according to their value.
  • Top Lost Reasons - Displays up to 5 top reason why your potential customers are not buying your product.

How to Build Business Intelligence Dashboards in Pipeliner CRM

Create BI Dashboard

This special feature of Pipeliner enables efficient reporting, which can be viewed at a glance. In order to create your first BI Dashboard follow these steps:

  1. Go to “Reports” and click on “Dashboard." Pipeliner CRM Open Business Inteligence Dashboards
  2. Here you can see 6 boxes where you can assign a pre-compiled chart. Click on the wheel icon to open the charts list.

TIP: By clicking on the OPTIONS button in the upper right hand corner of Pipeliner, you can open the view settings and create different viewing profiles in order to filter the data you would like to show on your charts. Analyze only the data that needs your attention the most.

Using 3-D BI Charts

The key figures describing the success of individual sales reps, entire departments or countries are visualized in the dashboard and available at the press of a button in 3-D format.

  1. Go to “Reports” and click on “Dashboard."

TIP: You can rotate the chart using a click & drag system and zoom-into the chart using the mouse wheel.

How to Edit Dashboard Settings

The dashboard settings enable you to select the sales opportunities that contribute to the charts. In the dashboard settings you can change: Pipeliner CRM Dashboard Settings

  • Role Settings - alter the opportunities contribution based on the user role within Pipeliner CRM.

  • Filter Settings - narrow the opportunities contribution based on the available fields on the opportunity form.

After you configure the dashboard settings according to your wishes, you can easily share this dashboard among your other Pipeliner CRM users.

How to Share a Dashboard with Pipeliner CRM Users

Each Dashboard with its related charts can be shared with your team members.

  1. Click on the "Dashboard" you would like to share.
  2. Click on "Dashboard Settings."

  3. Next to the "Private (Only Me)," click on the down arrow.

  4. Here you can select from the three main options:
    • Private (Only Me)
    • Public (Compatible Users)
    • Custom (Selected Users or Units)
  5. Click Public and the report will be available for other users to use.

Please note that the other user needs to make the report a favorite in order to use it within their Dashboard.

How to Use Shared Pipeliner CRM Dashboard

By default Pipeliner CRM shows all "Favorite" reports. In order to use shared Pipeliner CRM (the dashboard that is public) follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Reports" › "Dashboard" to open all dashboard reports.
  2. Click on "Favorites."

  4. Click the star to make that report a favorite.

After that, you will be able to use the shared public report in Pipeliner CRM.
