Here is how you can set up email notifications when somebody from your team posts a comment on an activity, or sends a feed message:

Who Is Getting Email Notifications?

All Pipeliner CRM notifications are based on the roles you have assigned to the the records:

  • Owner/creator receives email notifications according to their own predefined account settings.
  • Watcher receives email notifications according to their own predefined account settings. In order to get an email notification, they need to be assigned as a watcher of the entity.
  • Editor receives email notifications according to their own predefined account settings. In order to get the email notification, they needs to be assigned as a watcher to the entity.
  • Manager does not receive email notifications by default. Even a manager needs to be assigned as a watcher or editor in order to get email notifications related to the records in Pipeliner CRM. We provide this limitation because a manager can have access to thousands of records that could create a massive overload on their email inbox.

How Do I Configure Email Notifications for Comments?

The Feed is a communication platform within Pipeliner CRM, in which all Pipeliner users can communicate any issues by sending a Feed message and commenting on it. In the example below, we explain how you can get email notifications on Feed message comments. It works in a similar way for receiving email notifications regarding comments on  activities.

In order to set up the email notifications for feed messages follow these steps:

  1. Run Pipeliner CRM
  2. Click on the “Profile” image (If you haven’t done so, we recommend you to upload your photo to your Pipeliner account as soon as you can, because your photo is used across the whole application to better visually connect your records).
Pipeliner CRM Open Account Profile Photo
  3. Click on “Account Settings”.
    Pipeliner CRM Open Account Settings
