Capturing time-in and time-out via Calculated Fields and Reporting

Would like to see the ability to track time-in and time-out. I realize this has to first be addressed with custom calculated fields in the forms, but for service organizations with people in the field (technicians) who need to enter in this information, track it, invoice off of it, etc. would be helpful.
